For customers seeking a premium, low-maintenance fencing material that’s built to last, Florida State Fence offers Trex fence installation in Tampa and across Tampa Bay. We also serve customers throughout Central Florida from our Tampa and Ocala office locations.
Trex composite fencing pairs a natural wood-grain look with the low-maintenance benefits of a vinyl fence. It’s made from eco-friendly material that’s 95% recycled, and many homeowners choose Trex over a traditional wood fence because it costs less to maintain over the life of the fence. As your Tampa fence company, we start with an on-site consultation to understand your goals, follow up with a detailed estimate, and handle HOA and local permitting for you.

About Our Trex Fences
Our Trex privacy fences bring a sophisticated, modern look to residential and commercial properties in Tampa and Ocala alike. It secures backyards or establishes commercial boundaries with an upscale, finished appearance, and its exceptional noise reduction makes it a strong choice for properties near highways or busy urban corridors. Trex is also a popular option for commercial trash enclosures and other utility screening.
Reinforced brackets, aluminum support rails, and interlocking boards make Trex one of the most structurally superior fencing options available. The color runs through the entire board, so scratches and surface wear won’t expose bare material underneath the way they might with a painted or stained wood fence.
Engineered to withstand strong winds and resist salt air, humidity, and heavy rainfall without warping or rotting, a premium Trex fence holds its appearance through years of intense Florida weather with virtually no maintenance required on your part.
Low Maintenance. Long Lasting. Built for Florida.
Trex Fence Styles
Florida State Fence offers Trex fencing in two distinct styles, each offered in Saddle, Winchester Grey, and Woodland Brown finishes. Choose from pyramid or flat post caps to complete the look.

Trex Fencing FAQs
Does residential Trex fencing come with a warranty?
Yes. Florida State Fence provides a one-year labor warranty on installation, and Trex backs its residential fencing with a 25-year manufacturer warranty. That's longer than most homeowners stay in their house, making Trex a sound long-term investment that can also boost your property's value.
Can I have matching gates for my Trex fence?
Yes. Both Trex Seclusions and Trex Horizons include customizable gates. Standard heights are 6 and 8 feet, and custom widths can be accommodated to match your fence layout.
Do I need a permit for Trex fence installation in Hillsborough County?
Residential fences typically don't require a permit, though exceptions apply for fences over standard height limits, pool barriers, and installations near utility easements or flood zones. Commercial fences require permitting through Hillsborough County Development Services, and the City of Tampa may have additional requirements. Florida State Fence manages any required HOA or local permitting for a seamless installation.
Is Trex fencing a good choice for Florida's climate?
Yes. Trex is made from a composite material that naturally resists salt air, high humidity, heavy rainfall, and insect damage without warping or rotting, and its reinforced construction is built to withstand high winds. It's a structurally superior, low-maintenance option for Tampa Bay and Central Florida properties.
Does Florida State Fence install Trex on commercial properties?
Yes. We install Trex fencing for commercial, municipal, and hospitality properties, including trash enclosures and dumpster gates, privacy screens and railing, sound barriers, perimeter fencing, and wall extensions.
